As Financial Operations Executive you’ll play a key role in core operational finance processes across partner invoicing and collections, supplier payments, expenses, treasury, and cash management. You’ll work closely with Finance, the wider business, and external stakeholders. This role ensures transactions are processed accurately, controls are followed, and issues are resolved promptly. In addition to day-to-day processing, the role supports the integrity of financial records, manages more complex queries and reconciliations, and contributes to process improvement initiatives.
Some of the great things you’ll be doing:
Process a range of financial transactions accurately and efficiently (e.g. partner invoicing, supplier management, treasury & cash management or expenses), ensuring accurate and timely processing in line with internal policies and controls.
Support the wider Financial Operations team by flexing across processes as needed, ensuring service continuity and a joined-up approach.
Manage escalations and non-standard queries from the business, partners or suppliers, working cross-functionally as needed to ensure timely resolution.
Demonstrate relevant systems knowledge to support accurate & timely processing, reporting and reconciliation.
Contribute to a robust month-end close by completing assigned tasks to agreed timelines, ensuring integrity of financial records.
Perform key reconciliations within your area, including bank accounts, partner statements, and supplier statements, investigating and resolving variances.
Maintain accurate and organised financial records for audit and compliance purposes.
Proactively identify opportunities for improvement within the function to support implementation of more efficient, scalable processes.
Proactively identify training needs, share best practices, and support the business in understanding and confidently using the systems in line with expected processes and controls.
What we’d like to see from you:
• Collaborative team player with a flexible, can-do attitude.
• Confident user of finance systems such as Workday, Concur, and online banking platforms.
• Strong communicator with effective stakeholder management.
• Knowledge and understanding of financial control processes.
• Experience of improving processes, systems & outcomes.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good Excel and analytical skills.
