Demonstrated experience supporting remote teams and multi-state workforces.
-
Working knowledge of employment law fundamentals, particularly the FMLA, workplace accommodations, and leave requirements.
-
Ability to research state-specific employment regulations and determine when additional legal guidance is necessary.
-
Strong judgment in identifying situations that require escalation to corporate or external legal counsel.
-
High degree of discretion, integrity, and commitment to confidentiality.
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive employee matters professionally.
-
Ability to work independently, prioritize competing needs, and provide reliable HR support with limited oversight.
-
General availability during U.S. Eastern or Central business hours.
-
Ability to commit to a flexible, fractional engagement of up to 10 hours per month.
-
Previous experience in fractional, consulting, or outsourced HR leadership roles.
-
Experience developing, implementing, or advising on employee education and training programs.
-
Familiarity supporting distributed teams across organizations of varying sizes.
