Location: Cleveland, TN - Local Routes - Home Daily

CDL Swing Driver Responsibilities

As a CDL

Driver, you'll provide route coverage across multiple operations while safely operating waste collection vehicles and supporting route efficiency.

Daily Duties Include:

• Safely operate front-load, rear-load, side-load, and other waste collection vehicles
• Complete residential and commercial garbage collection routes
• Collect trash, recycling, and solid waste materials
• Follow designated routes, route sheets, and dispatch instructions
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns
• Maintain compliance with DOT and company safety regulations
• Deliver excellent customer service to residential and commercial customers
• Assist with additional operational duties as needed

To qualify for this CDL Driver position, candidates must have:

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL or Class B CDL
• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
• Clean driving record
• Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles in varying weather conditions
• Strong commitment to safety and customer service
• Ability to work independently and efficiently

Preferred Experience

• Front Load Driver experience
• Rear Load Driver experience
• Roll-Off Driver experience
• Waste industry experience
• Route delivery experience
• Refuse collection experience
