Our ID Capture SDK runs real-time, AR-style computer vision live on the phone camera, on millions of devices. More and more of what our users need now lives next to it, on the web and in the cloud. As a Full Stack Engineer in the ID Capture team, you will build that side: the services, APIs and web interfaces behind our identity verification solutions. You will also build a backend AI routing layer that decides which model handles each request.

You will join the small team of engineers building ID Capture's cloud and web products: short path from idea to user, and a product that connects live on-device computer vision with modern AI services.

About the role

You will work across frontend and backend, own features end to end, and use AI tools every day to move fast. In your first 6–12 months, you will ship a production web service, backend and frontend, that users rely on alongside the ID Capture SDK. You will also put the first version of the AI routing layer into production.

What you will do

• Build and run backend services in Python that power our identity verification solutions
• Work on the backend AI routing layer that decides, in real time, which AI model handles each request, balancing accuracy, latency and cost
• Build web interfaces and internal tooling in TypeScript, from first prototype to production
• Design APIs and data models, and own reliability, monitoring and security of what you ship
• Work with our C++, iOS, Android and ML engineers to connect our on-device products to the cloud
• Use AI coding tools to prototype quickly, then harden what works

Who you are

We are looking for a full stack engineer who is comfortable across the stack, from API design and data modelling to UI. You move things forward without waiting for detailed specs, and you handle sensitive data carefully, with privacy in mind.

• 2–5 years building web applications in production, across backend and frontend
• Solid Python for backend work and good JavaScript / TypeScript for the frontend
• Experience with a major cloud provider and relational databases such as PostgreSQL
• Security-minded, designing with privacy in mind
• Heavy, thoughtful user of AI coding assistants
• Eligible to work in the hiring location

Nice to have:

• A modern frontend framework (React, Vue or similar)
• Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD and infrastructure as code
• Experience integrating LLM or VLM APIs into products
• Exposure to identity, security or compliance domains
• Interest in mobile or C++, or in working close to on-device software
