  • Implement digital EHS systems, dashboards, automated reporting, and analytics as a single source of performance data.
  • Develop organizational capabilities through clear roles, competency standards, training, certification, talent, and succession plans.

Sustainability

  • Develop and execute a global manufacturing sustainability strategy aligned with corporate objectives and site roadmaps.
  • Reduce greenhouse gas and CO₂e emissions, energy use, water consumption, waste, and hazardous materials.
  • Increase renewable energy, recycling, material recovery, facility electrification, and sustainable design practices.
  • Establish measurable sustainability and energy KPIs, including energy and water use per unit produced.
  • Benchmark sites and identify high-impact processes, infrastructure, and opportunities for performance improvement.

Facilities

  • Provide strategic oversight of facility master planning, buildings, utilities, infrastructure, security, and maintenance systems.
  • Ensure facilities support production uptime, employee safety, regulatory compliance, cost effectiveness, and asset life.
  • Identify critical assets, assess infrastructure risk, and prevent facility systems from constraining manufacturing operations.
  • Develop business-continuity and recovery plans for utility loss, equipment failure, severe weather, flooding, fire-system impairment, and other disruptions.
  • Lead long-range facility capital planning, budgets, business cases, expansions, and standardized design requirements.
  • Prioritize investments by safety, compliance, production risk, reliability, sustainability, cost, and return on investment.
  • Establish asset inventories, criticality ratings, life-cycle plans, and replacement and refurbishment strategies.
  • Define preventive and predictive maintenance standards; monitor condition, reliability, cost, spare parts, and performance.
  • Set global requirements for facility contractors and suppliers based on safety, technical capability, quality, sustainability, cost, and compliance.
