Sedgefield Country Club is seeking an enthusiastic Group Fitness Instructor to provide classes for our members on an independent contractor basis. This opportunity is ideal for a certified instructor who enjoys motivating others and creating a welcoming fitness experience for participants of varying abilities..
Conract Arrangement
This is an independent contractor opportunity to teach classes, rather than an employee position with Sedgefield Country Club. Class formats, scheduling, and compensation will be established by mutual agreement.
Interested instructors should provide their areas of instruction, relevant certifications, teaching experience, and availability.
Responsibilities
Scope of Services
- Teach safe, effective, and engaging group fitness classes in the instructor’s area of expertise.
- Demonstrate proper technique and offer modifications for different fitness levels.
- Provide an encouraging, inclusive class environment.
- Deliver classes according to a mutually agreed-upon schedule.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Current group fitness or applicable specialty certification from a recognized organization.
- Current CPR/AED certification.
- Previous experience teaching group fitness classes preferred.
- Strong communication skills and an engaging instructional style.
