Group Lead

Overall, responsible for operators’ day-to-day activities and shift changes.
• Maintain a safe work environment (via on-going training) and maintain the workplace clean and organized.
• Prepare daily/next day Job Packets for production.
• On-Going Communication of pertinent information, problems/issues, events, meetings, training.
• Prepare and validate daily production labels. Responsible for sending partials and receiving End of Labels.
• Schedule assignments, breaks, lunch, overtime, vacation, back-up coverage, and shutdown.
• Support operators, as needed.
• Daily auditing of scales.
• Send out Daily Rundown form to management.
• Report on Production.
• Main focus areas
 Assign personnel at the start of each shift as needed.
 Complete Job Packets.
 Provide coverage for operators during breaks and as needed.
 Complete Shift reports.
 Monitor production output throughout the shift and escalate downtime or issues to the Supervisor.
 Ensure employees are properly trained.
 Ensure all daily production is fully scanned with no leftovers.
 Ensure production is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
