About the role
About Real Geeks
Real Geeks is a leading real estate technology company helping agents and teams build their
brands, generate leads, nurture relationships, and grow their businesses.
Our integrated platform combines IDX websites, CRM, marketing automation, AI-powered tools,
and lead generation solutions to help real estate professionals build stronger, more sustainable
businesses.
We're a relatively small, fast-moving technology company with ambitious goals. We're looking
for a marketing leader who can help us sharpen our positioning, elevate our brand, and
accelerate growth.
The Opportunity
We're looking for a strategic, hands-on marketing leader to own and drive our marketing
strategy.
This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who knows how to turn great positioning into
compelling campaigns, brand awareness into demand, product innovation into customer
adoption, and marketing investments into measurable business results.
You'll lead a small team of marketing professionals and work closely with our Sales, Product,
and Training teams to ensure our messaging, campaigns, product launches, and customer
experience are aligned.
We don't need someone who simply manages marketing activities. We need a driver, a
changemaker, and a builder. Someone who challenges the status quo, brings fresh ideas, sets
a clear direction, and inspires others to execute.
You'll need to think strategically, act decisively, and be comfortable getting into the details. We're
a lean organization, and everyone — including our leaders — rolls up their sleeves when
needed.
What You'll Own
Marketing Strategy & Positioning
- Develop and own a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with company objectives and revenue goals.
- Define and sharpen our brand positioning, differentiation, value propositions, and messaging across key customer segments.
- Translate market insights, customer needs, and competitive intelligence into clear marketing priorities.
- Build integrated marketing plans that connect brand awareness, organic growth, demand generation, product marketing, and customer engagement.
- Establish a consistent, compelling brand narrative across all marketing channels and customer touchpoints.
Team Leadership & Execution
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of three marketing professionals, creating clarity around priorities, ownership, and expectations.
- Build a focused, accountable, high-performing team that works collaboratively toward shared goals.
- Create a culture of ownership, creativity, continuous improvement, and results.
- Establish effective planning and execution processes so that every major initiative has a clear what, why, who, when, and definition of success.
- Prioritize ruthlessly, manage resources effectively, and keep the team focused on the work that matters most.
- Step in and execute when needed. This is a hands-on leadership role, not one for someone who prefers to delegate everything.
Budget Management, Data & Performance
- Own the overall marketing budget, ensuring investments align with company strategy, priorities, and revenue objectives.
- Define and own marketing KPIs, performance dashboards, and reporting.
- Use data to guide strategy, prioritize investments, evaluate results, and continuously optimize performance.
- Build a culture where decisions are grounded in customer insights, market evidence, and measurable outcomes.
- Ensure initiatives begin with clear objectives, success metrics, owners, timelines, and execution plans.
- Regularly assess what's working, what's not, and where to double down, adjust, or stop.
Organic Growth & Demand Generation
- Balance long-term brand building with near-term lead generation and revenue opportunities.
- Develop integrated campaigns across organic, paid, email, social, events, and other channels that support both new customer acquisition and existing customer engagement and expansion revenue.
- Lead organic growth initiatives that expand Real Geeks' visibility, authority and market position, including content marketing, SEO/AEO/GEO strategy, social media, partnerships, and thought leadership.
- Provide strategic direction and oversight for demand generation, empowering the Demand Generation Manager to own channel strategy, paid media allocation, and campaign optimization within agreed budgets and goals.
- Ensure the Marketing and Sales teams are aligned on sales goals and underlying metrics, including demand gen spend, lead volume and conversion rates
- Ensure the Sales team has a predictable pipeline of qualified leads that enable them to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Partner with the Sales team on strategies to improve conversion throughout the lead funnel.
- Establish clear accountability for campaign performance, lead quality, pipeline contribution, and marketing ROI.
Product Marketing & Launches
- Own the marketing strategy for launching new products, features, and enhancements.
- Ensure product innovation translates into clear, differentiated customer value and compelling reasons to choose Real Geeks.
- Partner closely with Product, Sales, and Training to develop compelling positioning, messaging, and launch plans, and ensure consistency in messaging and tactics across internal and external channels.
- Develop integrated launch campaigns to drive awareness, interest, and adoption of new and existing products among prospects and customers.
What We're Looking For
Experience & Expertise
- Significant experience in B2B marketing, ideally in SaaS, technology, or a subscription-based business.
- Proven success developing marketing strategies, positioning products, and building brand awareness in competitive markets.
- Experience leading product marketing, go-to-market strategies, and successful product or feature launches.
- Deep understanding of organic growth, content marketing, SEO, AI search trends, and modern demand generation.
- Experience owning marketing budgets and managing investments against measurable business outcomes.
- Experience leading small, high-performing marketing teams and managing cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong understanding of the relationship between marketing, sales pipeline, customer acquisition, product adoption, and revenue.
- Excellent analytical skills and experience using data, attribution, and performance metrics to inform decisions.
- Exceptional communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in real estate technology or the real estate industry is strongly preferred.
Leadership & Mindset
We're particularly interested in how you work, not just what you've done.
- You're a driver. You create momentum, challenge assumptions, make decisions, and move things forward.
- You're a strategic thinker. You see the big picture, understand the business, and connect marketing activities to meaningful outcomes.
- You're a builder and a changemaker. You thrive on improving what's already there, introducing better ways of working, and creating something stronger.
- You're collaborative. You build strong relationships across teams, welcome different perspectives, and know that great marketing doesn't happen in a silo.
- You're scrappy and resourceful. You know how to make a big impact with a small team and limited resources.
- You're hands-on. You're equally comfortable developing a strategy, reviewing campaign data, refining messaging, or jumping in to help execute.
- You're data-obsessed. You ask questions, test assumptions, measure results, and make evidence-based decisions.
- You're focused and organized. You don't confuse activity with progress. You bring structure, discipline, and accountability to execution.
- You're an empowering leader. You set clear goals and guardrails, give your team ownership of their areas of expertise, and hold people accountable for outcomes without micromanaging.
