We are seeking a dynamic Head Teacher Administration to join our thriving comprehensive co-educational high school executive. Northern Beaches Secondary College Cromer Campus (enrolment 1074 students) is a comprehensive co-educational school located on the northern beaches of Sydney. Cromer Campus has recently experienced a substantial increase in student numbers due to a range of successful programs. The school is currently experiencing significant growth in students’ academic achievement and a strong commitment to the PBeL values of respect, responsibility and success.

At NBSC Cromer Campus there is a strong emphasis on quality teaching and high expectations across all areas of school life. Whole school focus areas include explicit teaching practices and the delivery of quality literacy and numeracy programs. Applicants must satisfy the teacher training and academic qualification requirements for this position. In addition to the general selection criteria,

1. Proven ability to manage daily organisation with the capacity to lead, support, manage and expand the schools casual teaching staff pool.

2. Demonstrated experience in understanding, implementing and overseeing the use of whole school online administration and student management systems.

3. High level interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively and professionally in context with all members of staff and the broader school community.

4. Demonstrated capacity to work as a collaborative member of the school executive team to implement the school’s strategic directions to ensure outstanding learning outcomes for all students.

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
