About the role
Beverly Hills Girls High School is a comprehensive educational environment accommodating approximately 850 female students ranging from grades 7 to 12. The school focus is on girls’ education and the cultivation of character, resilience, and a sense of purpose.
Additionally, an on-site co-educational Intensive English Centre serves around 180 students, with some shared facility use. The school prides itself on being a vibrant, dynamic, and inclusive learning community, setting high expectations for student achievement, wellbeing, and development, as well as for staff professional growth and performance. The school fosters a safe, inclusive, and harmonious learning environment, where individual talents are acknowledged and nurtured. With over 90% of students coming from non-English language backgrounds, the school places a strong emphasis on multiculturalism.
The Strategic Improvement Plan (2026-2029) focuses on three main strategic directions: Student growth and attainment, Professional growth and attainment, and School growth and attainment. Embedded within the school culture is a deep commitment to learning, supported by the Quality Learning Framework and the Quality Learning Behaviour curriculum, aimed at achieving excellence.
The junior curriculum follows a unitised, vertically integrated, semester-based system known as ASPIRE. This structure allows for a wide range of student choice, acceleration, and enrichment opportunities. Additionally, the school offers streamed Stage 4 classes for High Potential and Gifted Education in key learning areas such as English, Mathematics, Science, and PDHPE.
