We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused CDL-A Driver to support our growing fleet operations. This role involves operating dump trucks and transporting heavy equipment to and from job sites in an active construction environment. This position requires a minimum of two years of hands-on experience hauling construction materials and loading, securing, and transporting heavy equipment—such as dozers, track hoes, and similar machinery—using lowboy trailers. The position requires strong knowledge of load securement, DOT compliance, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced heavy civil construction setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate tri-axle and tandem dump trucks to haul aggregates, asphalt, and dirt.
  • Transport heavy equipment using a lowboy trailer to and from job sites.
  • Ensure proper securing of loads and compliance with DOT regulations.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic preventative maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate logs, delivery tickets, and mileage records.
  • Communicate with supervisors and equipment operators to coordinate site deliveries and pickups.

Requirements

  • Valid CDL Class A with clean driving record.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience driving dump trucks and/or hauling heavy equipment with a lowboy.
  • Knowledge of DOT safety regulations and load securement practices.
  • Ability to operate in all weather conditions and navigate construction sites.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background and drug/alcohol screen.
  • Flexible schedule and willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive hourly wages (based on experience)
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Life insurance and short and long-term disability.
