Job Description:

YOU WILL BE: As the Host, you will be the first point of contact for guests at the Bergdorf Goodman Restaurant and play a key role in setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. This position requires a polished, welcoming presence and the ability to manage reservations, guest flow, and seating with grace and efficiency in a luxury dining environment. WHAT YOU WILL DO: • Greet all guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, reflecting the Bergdorf Goodman brand and service standards • Manage reservations, waitlists, and guest seating to ensure optimal dining flow • Communicate effectively with servers, managers, and kitchen staff regarding table status and guest needs • Maintain an organized and elegant host stand and entrance area • Accommodate special guest requests whenever possible with discretion and professionalism • Monitor dining room activity to ensure guest comfort and service efficiency • Answer phone calls, manage inquiries, and provide accurate wait-time information • Support opening and closing duties as assigned WHAT YOU WILL BRING: • Previous hostess or front-of-house experience preferred; luxury or fine dining experience a plus • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to remain calm and poised in a fast-paced environment • Proficiency with reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable) preferred • Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and peak retail hours

Salary Range $20.79 - $25.99*

Compensation for this role varies by geographic location. The listed range reflects multiple markets, including higher-cost areas. Actual starting pay will be determined based on work location, experience, and other job-related factors.
