About the role
· Gain a strong understanding of IT operations, ticketing system workflows, and enterprise support practices.
· Provide triage support for employees by answering questions, troubleshooting software and hardware issues, and resolving tickets in a timely manner working in conjunction of support teams.
· Assist with IT Asset Management equipment to optimize organization processes.
· Monitor and support enterprise applications such as Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, and internal collaboration tools.
· Learn and assist in user account management, including access, user groups, identities, permissions, and onboarding/offboarding processes in Entra ID.
· Document technical issues and solutions to form an IT knowledge base to support continuous improvement and reduce repeat issues.
· Support IT security initiatives, such as alert setup & remediation research, phishing simulations, and endpoint protection monitoring.
· Shadow IT staff to observe system upgrades, patching, and preventative maintenance tasks.
· Participate in small IT projects such as rollouts, system upgrades, quality assurance testing, or process automation using PowerShell, BASH, or Power Automated Flows
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand how IT supports business operations and supply chain continuity.
