About the Role
LNG Canada is transitioning from major-project delivery into sustained operations while progressing enterprise priorities that span commercial, technical, operational, and corporate functions—a transition that requires a high-performance culture as the foundation for successful delivery. The Value Hub serves as LNGC’s business transformation and integration office, providing focused support to the CEO and LNGC Leadership Team as priorities become increasingly complex, cross-functional, and enterprise-wide.
Reporting to the Value Hub Integration Manager, the Integration & Value Hub Advisor is part of a team that helps convert LNGC’s short and long-term priorities into integrated, actionable plans that drive transformational improvements in performance. The role acts as an integrative partner to the CEO and LNGC-LT, strengthening leadership effectiveness and leading and supporting delivery across commercial, technical, operational, and corporate functions.
This is an advisory role that delivers through influence rather than formal authority. Success requires sound judgment, trust-building, collaboration, structured problem-solving, and the ability to align senior leaders and working-level teams around practical solutions, clear accountabilities, and sustained execution.
The Advisor brings perspective to emerging issues, facilitates leadership discussions, prepares executive and stakeholder materials, and supports effective decision-making by framing options, risks, trade-offs, and implications. The role also helps maintain momentum by tracking commitments, clarifying decision pathways, coordinating contributors, and removing friction across cross-functional work. The Advisor will lead or directly support delivery of select high-impact initiatives by providing interim resource support, building team capability, and identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
The role supports the enterprise operating cadence, governance, performance visibility, and decision-support tools needed to help the CEO and LNGC-LT prioritize work, resolve cross-functional issues, and sustain progress against LNGC’s business plan.
A strong understanding of Joint Venture Agreement (JVA) governance, approval requirements, and complex business documents is required to interpret obligations, develop fit-for-purpose materials such as mandates, decision support packages, and notes for information, and strengthen decision quality and joint-venture effectiveness.
To succeed with us at LNG Canada, we need your enthusiasm to:
Lead with Honesty: We act with integrity and courage, even when it is difficult.
- Communicate openly, clearly, and respectfully in all situations.
- Speak up when something doesn’t feel right, including safety or ethical concerns.
- Take accountability for decisions and actions, and do the right thing for people and the business.
Nurture Our People: We create an environment where people feel supported, respected, and empowered to grow.
- Support the development of others through feedback, coaching, and collaboration.
- Build trusting relationships grounded in respect and inclusion.
- Assume positive intent and approach differences with empathy and fairness.
Grow Our Business: We focus our energy on work that delivers meaningful, long‑term value.
- Prioritize what matters most and use time and resources effectively.
- Set clear goals, follow through on commitments, and deliver results.
- Look for opportunities to improve how we work and how we perform.
Connect with Purpose: We build strong connections and understand the impact of our work.
- Listen to, understand and value diverse perspectives.
- Foster inclusive, collaborative relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Align daily work with LNG Canada’s purpose, values, and broader impact.
You will use your expertise to:
- Translate CEO and LNGC-LT priorities into integrated plans that focus effort on the highest-value work while upholding safety, compliance, and business discipline.
- Structure ambiguous or emerging enterprise problems by defining the core issue, testing assumptions, identifying dependencies, and establishing the analytical and engagement approach.
- Derive strategies and practical recommendations from incomplete, complex, or conflicting information, identifying choices, trade-offs, risks, implications, and required decisions.
- Work through relationships and influence to align senior leaders and commercial, technical, operational, and corporate functional subject matter experts around clear outcomes, roles, and delivery expectations.
- Support the LNGC-LT operating cadence, including leadership forums, planning cycles, and performance reviews, by facilitating discussions that balance perspectives, build alignment, and improve decision quality, pace, and follow-through.
- Provide executive decision support by framing issues, developing options, and preparing recommendations that clearly set out trade-offs, risks, implications, and required decisions.
- Enable disciplined follow-through through action tracking, escalation support, closure discipline, and visible reporting on cross-functional priorities.
- Help identify, triage, and resolve cross-functional issues by clarifying decision pathways, aligning stakeholders, and supporting timely problem-solving and escalation.
- Develop executive-ready communications and stakeholder materials, including aligned narratives, briefings, and preparation materials for governance and JV forums.
- Provide fit-for-purpose governance tools, insights, and performance visibility that help the CEO and LNGC-LT maintain an integrated enterprise view.
- Maintain standardized opportunity and value-assessment tools to support transparent prioritization, resource allocation, and investment decisions.
- Lead and support delivery of select high-impact and broadening initiatives by coordinating contributors, providing interim resource support, building capability, removing friction, and identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
- Read and interpret complex agreements, governance materials, and business documents, and develop fit-for-purpose materials such as mandates, decision support packages, notes for information, and engagement materials.
To be successful, you will have:
- A business, engineering, economics, finance, or related degree; an MBA or equivalent advanced qualification and/or consulting or corporate strategy experience is valued.
- Proven ability to influence without formal authority and deliver outcomes through trust, collaboration, and effective stakeholder alignment.
- Strong execution discipline, with the ability to coordinate work across teams with diverse capabilities, priorities, and accountabilities.
- Experience working in complex joint-venture environments with multiple partners, governance interfaces, and stakeholder interests.
- Ability to synthesize complex information, exercise sound judgment, and provide clear, actionable recommendations under time pressure.
- Demonstrated understanding of the integrated gas value chain and the commercial, technical, operational, and corporate interfaces that shape business decisions.
- Confidence to navigate sensitive discussions, balance perspectives, and build alignment on practical solutions.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear, compelling materials for executive, governance, JV, and working-level audiences.
- Visible commitment to inclusive leadership, with the ability to collaborate across functional, cultural, and organizational boundaries.
Your behaviors and attributes include:
- Demonstrates self-motivation and consistently performs at a high level.
- Builds connected, trusted relationships across levels of seniority.
- Models radical candor through honest, respectful conversations that build trust and clarity.
- Engages with curiosity, a learner mindset, and the intent to create a psychologically safe environment.

- Motivates and influences others without formal authority.
This role requires that you:

We Offer:
