About the role
Position Type: School Leadership | Employment Status: Fixed Term/Contract | Classification Level: POR1
An internal opportunity exists for motivated and enthusiastic Xavier College staff to apply for the Sport Coordinator (POR1) position at our Two Wells (R–12) Campus.
Commencing January 2027, this POR1 position is offered for a fixed term of one year and includes a full-time, permanent teaching component and should be considered in conjunction with the Teacher Position Information Document.
The Sports Coordinator will support the Catholic identity and Salesian ethos of Xavier College and work collaboratively with College leaders to provide leadership, direction and development of the College's sporting program.
As the Sports Coordinator, you will:
Lead and coordinate the Two Wells Campus sporting program, including interschool and internal sporting events and activities.
Foster student participation, engagement and wellbeing through a diverse range of sporting opportunities and physical activities.
Work collaboratively with staff and student leaders to promote a positive and inclusive culture of sport across the College.
Coordinate sporting events, carnivals, excursions and representative opportunities, ensuring effective organisation and communication.
Manage sporting resources, equipment and budget allocations to support the ongoing development of the program.
Build positive partnerships with students, families and the wider College community while supporting the Catholic identity and Salesian ethos of Xavier College.
