It's challenging work, an awesome team, and every day is rewarding.

About the Role:
This is a primarily remote role on our helpdesk, supporting a pod of clients, including a client with locations in Woodmere and Queens, NY that will need onsite visits as needed. You'll handle day-to-day IT needs remotely across the pod and head onsite for cabling, hardware, and network installs, partnering closely with our helpdesk and client success teams. This role is best for someone who's comfortable with tools in hand, working independently, and communicating directly with end users, including leadership.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide remote helpdesk support across a pod of clients for workstations, printers, peripherals, and vendor-specific hardware and software.
  • Go onsite to the Woodmere and Queens client locations as needed.
  • Run, terminate, and test network cabling (Cat5e/Cat6), including patch panels, keystones, and wall jacks.
  • Install, mount, and configure wireless access points, switches, and other network hardware.
  • Support basic networking (LAN, WAN, VPN, routers, firewalls, connectivity issues).
  • Handle equipment deployments, moves, and rack/closet cleanup.
  • Troubleshoot Windows, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 issues, escalating as needed.
  • Maintain documentation in ConnectWise and IT Glue.
  • Communicate clearly with end users (including C-level executives), keeping them informed and confident in the process.
  • Partner with internal teams and third-party vendors to resolve issues and improve client environments.
  • Perform other assigned tasks.

Job Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of hands-on IT support experience, including onsite work (MSP experience preferred).
  • Proven ability to run and terminate cable, install APs, and work with network hardware.
  • Working knowledge of basic networking (switching, IP addressing, DHCP, DNS).
  • Comfortable with ladders, drop ceilings, and lifting equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft 365 (we'll train you on the rest).
  • Familiarity with RMM and PSA tools (ConnectWise a plus).
  • Strong communication skills and a client-first mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must live within commuting distance of Woodmere, NY and Queens, NY.
  • Healthcare experience a plus.
  • Relevant certifications a plus (A+, Network+, BICSI, etc.).
