Janitorial/Maintenance Staff

Summary/Objective

The Maintenance Associate is responsible for maintaining the property in a first-class manner. Attention to detail must be given in all areas, including but not limited to grounds de-littering, wipe-downs, interior building cleanliness, restroom & locker room cleanliness, maintaining sidewalks from snow and ice, and safety.

Essential Functions

• Assists in general maintenance & repairs of building equipment and structure as directed by the Operations Manager.
• Helps maintain a clean working environment for all staff and visitors by performing custodial duties, including sanitation of all areas.
• Responsible for maintaining seasonal work, including but not limited to spreading ice melt as needed, checking for pavement "heaving" creating trip hazards, pulling unsightly weeds, checking for damage to landscaping and fences, etc.
• Maintains cleanliness of specific areas, including but not limited to parking area, entrances, walkways, docks, common areas, etc.
• Detects and reports damaged or broken tools, equipment, or vehicles to the Operations Manager.
• Assists Operations Manager with Receiving department, including but not limited to receiving and logging packages, keeping area clean, managing inventory, etc.
• Performs other various tasks when needed.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Days/hours are based on business needs and subject to change.

Required Education and Experience

• 21 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 2+ years of prior experience in maintenance
• Enthusiasm about the Medical Marijuana Industry

Preferred Education and Experience

• Prior custodial experience

FBI/BCI state mandated background check.
