As a Kitchen Assistant, you’ll play a key part in the kitchen ensuring a busy service runs smoothly. You’ll make sure everything is well stocked, clean, and the team around you have everything they need to create the perfect dish for our customers.  

Qualifications

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will…

• Help the kitchen service run smoothly by making sure it is well stocked and clean.
• Maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen to help guarantee the safety of your entire team and customers
• Communicate clearly with your team, ensuring they have everything they need.

• Willingness to learn and expand your skills in the kitchen.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform the role safely and understand allergen controls.

Company Description

Title: Kitchen Assistant

Location: The Hive Cafe, Croxley Park, Watford

Salary: £14.04 per hour 30 hours per week Mon - Fri

Flexible working times, 6 hours per day 9:00am - 15:30pm

Smiley, happy, friendly, willing & keen individual required for our busy Cafe in Watford with a can do attitude who will just get on and do any task within the kitchen environment including mechanical washing up, cleaning duties & putting deliveries away. As the kitchen assistant you will be responsible for assisting the Cafe chef in maintaining high quality food preparation & presentation, taking ownership of your section, communicate effectively with the team, adhere to all food safety & hygiene regulations, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in your assigned section and throughout the kitchen.
