Laborer

BUILDER WANTED. Concrete Laborer

Not just a Laborer. A Builder.

You build momentum on the jobsite. Whatever the project calls for, you step in, learn the task, and help the team move safely and efficiently. From repair and demolition to carpentry, masonry, caulking, waterproofing, and concrete work, you take pride in doing the work right the first time and leaving the job better than you found it.

A Legacy of Building Careers

At SSRG, we tackle complex projects and solve challenges others avoid. We believe exceptional work comes from exceptional people - people who take pride in their craft, support their teammates, and care about the quality of what they leave behind.

We know our employees have lives beyond the jobsite, and we value the balance between working hard and living well. Our culture is built on trust, growth, teamwork, and shared success. Together, we're preserving history, restoring structures, and building a legacy of quality, integrity, and purpose.

What You'll Build

• Complete hands-on work across assigned projects, including heavy concrete repair, rough carpentry, masonry, caulking, and waterproofing

• Follow direction from leads and supervisors, check materials before starting, and approach work with a measure-twice, cut-once mentality

• Position, join, align, and seal structural components, including concrete wall sections and pipes

• Perform demolition work, remove materials, and dispose of debris safely and efficiently

• Set up forms and molds, mix and place concrete, and use hand tools to complete assigned repair and construction tasks

• Operate power tools and machinery, including concrete mixers, vibrators, and pumps, as required for the work

• Complete work accurately and with attention to detail, including keeping work plumb, level, square, and properly finished and tooled

• Take responsibility for assigned tasks, ask for help when needed, meet daily production goals, and use time and materials efficiently

• Maintain a clean, hazard-free work area; report safety concerns; wear required safety gear; and follow all OSHA, EPA, ODH, company, and site-specific safety requirements

Qualifications

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum of 2 years experience in concrete construction or related field

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required

The Bottom Line

We're looking for a dependable builder who is ready to contribute wherever the project needs them. You show up prepared, work safely, follow direction, take ownership of your tasks, and care about Safety, Quality, and Production every day.

We're not looking for someone to simply complete assigned labor. We're looking for someone who helps the team, figures things out, learns from mistakes, uses time and materials responsibly, and takes pride in leaving every job better than they found it. If that sounds like you, let's build something great together.
