Laundry Attendant

Detail-oriented, dependable, and proud of every crisp, fresh linen? Prime Group is looking for a Laundry Attendant to keep Curio by Hilton supplied with spotless linens and uniforms and support an exceptional guest experience.

The Laundry Attendant plays a key role in the overall success of the hotel by keeping guest linens, towels, and uniforms clean, fresh, and ready on time, supporting guest room cleanliness and the delivery of guest service at Curio by Hilton.

Including but not limited to:

• Display hospitality, professionalism, and respect toward guests, vendors, and co-workers at all times
• Comply with PMG Hospitality's Company Standards of Service and Brand Standards, and complete required training
• Maintain a clean, neat appearance, including a complete uniform and name tag at all times
• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and press guest room, pool, and spa linens, towels, and uniforms to Company and Brand standards
• Operate commercial washers, dryers, and ironers safely and efficiently, following manufacturer and safety instructions
• Treat stains and inspect linens for damage; set aside items for re-wash, repair, or replacement
• Measure and use laundry chemicals correctly, following chemical safety and PPE requirements
• Deliver clean linens to housekeeping storerooms and carts on schedule, and rotate linen stock
• Track linen inventory and par levels, and notify the supervisor of shortages
• Keep the laundry area, equipment, and lint traps clean, organized, and safe
• Report equipment problems and write maintenance orders as needed
• Turn in articles found in linens to management for Lost and Found handling
• Maintain safe working conditions and security, and follow all safety and emergency procedures
• Keep your supervisor promptly informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Hotel laundry or housekeeping experience preferred; willingness to be trained on commercial laundry equipment
• Knowledge of chemical safety and PPE requirements
• A strong work ethic with a detail-oriented, roll-up-the-sleeves approach
• Ability to work as part of a team and balance workloads under time pressure
• Personal accountability and pride in results
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods, and lift and carry linen bundles up to 40 pounds
• Flexibility for early mornings, weekends, and holidays
• Experience in upscale or full-service resort hospitality, including Hilton, preferred

• A resort setting in the Florida Keys
