This job contributes to Starbucks success by operating and maintaining primary and secondary product packaging equipment in the manufacturing plant environment, ensuring that products meet delivery and quality requirements. Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.
As a machine operator l, you will:
Inspect, operate, and maintain primary and secondary automated production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Recognize and troubleshoot typical equipment or systems issues using established solutions.
Demonstrate intermediate knowledge and skills relevant to operating automated production equipment.
Calibrate and validate quality testing equipment; perform all testing procedures according to established specifications.
Perform visual inspections of finished products; identify quality problems and recommend solutions.
Monitor and document package quality using analytical tools; participate in out of specification and failure investigations.
