- Conduct New Hire Orientation and position-specific training for newly hired Maintenance Technician employees.
- Lead maintenance training sessions for the local community members enrolled in the CORE Academy certificate program - approximately 4–6 times per year.

- Assess the technical skills, training needs, and development opportunities of maintenance employees.
- Develop and design an annual maintenance training series that supports the evolving needs of maintenance teams and organizational priorities.
- Administer, monitor, and continuously improve the Shadow Checklist training tool for new maintenance employees.

- Evaluate employee skill competency, comprehension, and readiness to independently perform assigned job responsibilities.
- Maintain accurate attendance, completion, and training records for maintenance learning programs.
- Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that encourages questions, participation, hands-on practice, and adult learning.
- Prepare and deliver required training documentation, reports, assessments, and other records.
- Provide assistance and support for Learning & Development training and initiatives as needed.
- Work individually with employees to reinforce hands-on learning, verify comprehension, build confidence, and provide coaching when additional development is needed.
- Provide constructive, actionable feedback that helps employees strengthen technical skills and improve job performance.
- Serve as a resource and mentor to maintenance employees and CORE Academy participants seeking additional technical knowledge, professional development, or career growth.
- Maintain training center equipment, tools, materials, and designated classroom and hands-on learning spaces.
- Partner with maintenance and Hope through Housing leadership, supervisors, and Learning & Development to identify emerging training needs and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Attend required staff development meetings, train-the-trainer opportunities, and organizational training programs.
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant maintenance practices, equipment, safety expectations, and training methods.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
