Promote compliance with environmental requirements and the prevention of spills, releases, waste-related issues, and other avoidable environmental harm.
- Strengthening contractor and workforce engagement: Work with contractors, subcontractors, and project personnel to communicate HSE expectations, assess compliance, and address unsafe conditions or practices in a timely and constructive manner.
- Maintaining HSE documentation and reporting: Prepare and review HSE reports, inspection findings, performance metrics, action registers, and other project records. Provide accurate, timely information to project leadership to support informed decisions and continuous improvement.
- Supporting project planning and execution: Participate in project and construction meetings, risk reviews, work planning sessions, and other relevant activities to ensure HSE considerations are incorporated into operational decisions and changing work conditions.
- Coordinating HSE resources and activities: Provide direction and day-to-day guidance to assigned HSE personnel, coordinate priorities, and support consistent implementation of project requirements across work areas and teams.
- Driving continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to improve HSE systems, processes, tools, and work practices. Share lessons learned, support improvement initiatives, and encourage the adoption of practical solutions that strengthen project performance.
- Communicating and influencing effectively: Prepare and deliver clear presentations, recommendations, and reports on complex HSE matters. Build constructive relationships with project leadership, customers, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and achieve shared objectives.
