Join a structured, cohort-based internship in the world of metals. You'll own real work inside your department and move through the business as part of a full intern class — finishing the summer by presenting your work to SMS leadership.

The basics

• ~12 weeks, late May 2027 – early August 2027
• Full-time, 40 hours/week, paid hourly
• East Pittsburgh, PA

What You'll Do

• Own a real project/s in your department, backed by a dedicated Department Lead and a 1:1 mentor.
• Explore the whole company through weekly cross-functional Discovery Sessions with departments like Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Safety.
• Get out of the office for site tours, global networking, customer support, and team events.
• Cap the summer by presenting your work to SMS leadership at the August Capstone.

• Current students in engineering, technical, or business fields
