Join Princeton Orthopaedic Associates (POA), a division of OrthoNJ, and help keep patient care moving behind the scenes. We’re hiring Medical Billing Specialists - in our Monroe Township office - who take pride in accuracy, solving problems, and working with a team that supports exceptional orthopaedic care.

What You’ll Do

• Process and review medical claims and billing information for accuracy and timely submission.
• Research and resolve claim denials, payment discrepancies, and insurance-related billing questions.
• Post and reconcile payments; maintain clear, accurate billing records.
• Partner with internal teams and insurance carriers to resolve issues and support revenue cycle operations.

Requirements

What You Bring

• Experience with medical billing, claims, denials, payment posting, and insurance carrier processes.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and billing systems; ability to thrive in a busy, collaborative office.
• Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent billing/office experience; CBCS certification and basic accounting knowledge preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

The hiring range is $18.00–$29.00 per hour, based on qualifications, relevant experience, and other job-related factors. Eligible full-time employees may receive paid time off, medical, dental and vision coverage, and a retirement plan.
