About the role
About the role
We’re seeking an organised and proactive Workflow Coordinator to support our radiologists and clinic operations in delivering efficient, high-quality reporting services. This fully remote position will cover NSW, but we’re open to national applicants. The role is responsible for coordinating daily radiologist workflows, monitoring KPIs, managing national overflow reporting, troubleshooting workflow issues, and supporting service excellence across the network. It’s a great fit for someone who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and is passionate about improving systems and supporting clinical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and optimise daily radiologist workflow and reporting allocation
Monitor turnaround times, overflow reporting, and contractual KPIs
Track performance metrics and escalate risks or variances
Follow up on outstanding reports to ensure timely completion
Troubleshoot workflow and RIS/PACS issues (escalating when required)
Support workload distribution and roster planning
Act as the first point of contact for radiologist workflow support
Build strong working relationships with radiologists, clinical teams, and referrers
Respond to internal and external queries within KPI standards
Communicate and document critical findings per clinical governance requirements
Analyse workflow and radiologist performance data, produce regular KPI and performance reports, and identify trends and opportunities for process improvement
About You:
You’re an experienced administration professional with at least 2 years’ experience in a radiology clinic. You’re proficient in RIS/PACS and Microsoft Office, and you bring strong communication, analytical, and organisational skills. You work well both independently and collaboratively, and you have a sound understanding of radiology workflows.
