This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Freelance Video Editor – Business, Fitness & Spirituality based in Netherlands.

This is an opportunity for a creative freelance video editor to build a long-term collaboration around authentic personal content covering entrepreneurship, fitness, and spirituality. You will transform everyday footage, podcasts, and vlogs into engaging stories that connect with audiences and inspire positive emotions. Working remotely, you will edit long-form YouTube videos and repurpose content into short-form formats for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. The focus is on simple, effective editing supported by strong storytelling, emotional pacing, and compelling hooks. You will work closely with the content creator to develop a consistent editing style and increase publishing volume over time. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys these topics, understands social media formats, and knows how to turn raw footage into stories that resonate.

Accountabilities

You will manage the editing workflow for personal content across multiple platforms, transforming raw footage into polished, engaging videos while maintaining a consistent publishing schedule.

• Edit weekly long-form YouTube podcast episodes, creating clear, engaging, and well-paced content.

• Produce YouTube vlogs featuring everyday life, experiences in Bali, bodybuilding preparation, gym sessions, and personal reflections.

• Repurpose long-form content into short videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

• Review and organize large volumes of raw footage, identifying the most compelling moments and strongest emotional sequences.

• Build engaging narratives from unstructured footage, creating coherent storytelling arcs that maintain viewer interest.

• Use effective hooks, pacing, subtitles, music, and transitions to strengthen audience engagement.

• Adapt editing choices to different moods and subjects, moving naturally between fitness motivation, entrepreneurship, lifestyle, and introspective content.

• Maintain a simple, clean, and consistent editing style that prioritizes clarity and storytelling over unnecessary visual effects.

• Collaborate directly with the content creator to develop a recognizable creative direction and refine the editing approach over time.

• Initially deliver approximately one YouTube video per week and one short-form video per day, with the possibility of increasing production to two or more YouTube videos weekly and additional short-form content as the collaboration develops.

• Meet agreed deadlines and maintain a reliable, consistent production workflow.

Requirements

The ideal candidate combines practical video editing skills with strong storytelling instincts and a genuine interest in the content themes. Human compatibility and shared interests are particularly important for this long-term collaboration.

• Proven experience editing video content for YouTube and social media platforms.

• Strong storytelling abilities, with the capacity to identify key moments in raw footage and turn them into compelling narratives.

• Experience editing both long-form content, such as podcasts and vlogs, and short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

• Good understanding of short-form content formats, including hooks, pacing, subtitles, and audience retention.

• Ability to create clean, effective edits without relying on excessive effects or overly complex visual treatments.

• Strong sense of rhythm, music selection, and emotional pacing, with the flexibility to work across different musical styles, including metal and techno.

• Genuine interest in entrepreneurship, bodybuilding, fitness, and spirituality.

• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate closely with a content creator.

• Reliability, consistency, autonomy, and good time-management skills.

• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote freelance arrangement while respecting agreed deadlines.

• A proactive mindset and willingness to contribute ideas that improve storytelling and content quality.
