Music Teacher (Instrumental)

The Riverside Elementary Magnet and the CT River Academy middle school program at Goodwin University (http://www.ctriveracademy.org) are Early College magnet schools located in East Hartford,CT. We currently have (1) Full-time immediate opening for an enthusiastic Music/Instrumental Teacher for both schools. This vacancy is for the 2026-27 school year. An ideal candidate is someone who has an ability to motivate students from diverse backgrounds and interests. Both schools feature robust music programs and an environment of collaborative learning, project based instruction, and academic excellence. The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, a strong desire to instruct music and work with students from urban and suburban settings, possess an understanding of and appreciation for multicultural education. The selected teacher will become a member of a dynamic team of educators. Music certification (049) required. Goodwin University Magnet Schools is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Teacher Salary:

$57,695-$115,083 (Dependent on education and experience)
