About the role

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Node.js Full Stack Developer based in Brazil.

This opportunity is ideal for a full stack developer who enjoys building high-quality software and solving complex business challenges in a global technology environment. You will contribute to the development of sophisticated digital products and interconnected systems for an international client. The role combines backend and frontend development with cloud technologies, infrastructure automation, and modern CI/CD practices. You will collaborate with distributed teams, participate in architectural and technical discussions, and help deliver reliable, scalable solutions. Strong English communication skills are essential for working effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across different locations. Accountabilities

Full Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS, and Next.js.
Software Quality and Performance: Build reliable applications that address both functional and non-functional requirements, including performance, scalability, maintainability, and reliability.
Business Problem-Solving: Collaborate with team members and client stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
International Team Collaboration: Work closely with distributed, high-performing teams to coordinate development activities, share knowledge, and deliver project objectives.
Code Reviews and Feedback: Participate in code reviews, evaluate implementation quality, and provide constructive feedback to help improve code standards and team performance.
Cloud and Infrastructure Collaboration: Work with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure, and contribute to infrastructure automation using Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices.
CI/CD and Delivery Automation: Use GitHub-based development workflows, including GitHub Actions and Runners, to support continuous integration, delivery, and efficient software releases.
Event-Driven Development: Apply an understanding of event-driven processing to help build responsive and scalable software systems.
AI-Assisted Engineering: Leverage AI tools in daily development tasks to improve productivity, explore solutions, and support efficient software delivery.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with the team to explore new technologies, propose improvements, and identify creative approaches to project challenges.

Requirements:

Backend Development: Solid knowledge and practical experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS.
Frontend Development: Experience with Next.js and the ability to contribute across the full stack.
Cloud Technologies: Knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
Infrastructure as Code: Familiarity with Terraform and infrastructure automation concepts.
CI/CD and Version Control: Experience with GitHub-based workflows, including GitHub Actions and Runners.
Event-Driven Architecture: Understanding of event-driven processing and its application in software systems.
English Proficiency: Advanced or fluent English proficiency, with strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with globally distributed teams throughout the workday.
AI Development Tools: Willingness and ability to incorporate AI-powered tools into everyday software development activities.
Teamwork and Communication: Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, international team environment.
Preferred – Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile software development practices.
Preferred – Product Thinking: A strong product mindset and the ability to consider user needs and broader business objectives when making technical decisions.
