About the role
Position Overview
Join the Mt. Hood Meadows Public Safety team and play an important role in protecting one of Oregon’s premier mountain resorts. As a Public Safety Officer, you’ll help create a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for our guests, employees, and property while working in the stunning setting of Mt. Hood. This entry-level position offers a unique blend of patrol responsibilities, emergency response, guest interaction, and operational support in a fast-paced mountain environment.

You’ll document incidents, help manage traffic and parking operations, assist with snow removal activities, and contribute to the overall safety and efficiency of resort operations. This role requires someone who can remain calm under pressure, exercise sound judgment, and adapt quickly to changing weather and operational conditions.
This is more than just a security position; it’s an opportunity to be part of the team that helps keep Mt. Hood Meadows running safely each day. You’ll play a vital role in fostering a culture of safety, professionalism, and exceptional guest service while gaining valuable experience in public safety, emergency response, and mountain operations.
