Part-time Security Guard (Weekends)

Hours: Saturday 6AM to 6PM; Sunday 6AM to 6PM

Job Summary for Part-time Security Guard

Maintain the security of the auction lot by monitoring the premises, receiving and documenting incoming vehicles, and ensuring a safe environment for customers, employees, and inventory. Deliver professional, customer-focused service while enforcing site security procedures.

Rewards for Part-time Security Guard

• $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities of Part-time Security Guard

• Always provide efficient and courteous service to all customers.
• Receive and log all incoming vehicles.
• Checks and verifies stock number, VIN, color, and model of all vehicles prior to release.
• Ensure appropriate signature and approval on all release documents.
• Patrols the entire premises looking or anything out of the ordinary.
• Ensure the facility is always locked.
• Always maintain a clean and orderly guard shack.
• Work well independently as well as a team player.
• Timely communication of issues that may be deemed as detrimental to the success of operations to Management.
• Perform other duties, as necessary.

Requirements

Requirements for Part-time Security Guard:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid drivers license.
• Able to pass pre-employment screening.
• Experience in security operations, law enforcement, loss prevention, military, or a related security area is preferred.
• Bilingual is a plus but not required.
• Good customer service skills.
• Able to work 6am – 6pm Saturday and Sunday each week.

Physical Requirements for Part-time Security Guard

• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol the property for extended periods.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Able to respond quickly to security incidents and safely navigate active lot operations.
• Occasionally lift and move up to 25 lbs. (cones, signs, barriers, and equipment).
