HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT
Job Summary:
Provides excellent customer service through final resolution which includes answering patient inquiries via verbal and written communication Responsible for contacting patients regarding past due amounts. Patient Account Coordinator researches the account, verifies that charges have been posted, insurance has been filed, contractual adjustments and/or payments posted properly and patient balances are resolved.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY
Required Education:
Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent; Preferred: Associate degree
Required Experience:
- Minimum: One (1) year of job-related experience.
- Related experience includes:
- Dealing with the public
- Collection experience and organization skills
- Medical terminology
- HIPAA knowledge
- Other Training or Special Skills:
- Ability to operate basic office machines, i.e., calculator, fax, printers, and photocopier.
- Computer proficiency
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in medical/clerical arena or hospital patient accounting background
