Payroll Specialist

We’re seeking a talented Payroll Specialist to join our Payroll team, based at our Commercial Bay office in Auckland CBD. This exciting role sits within our Finance team and will be responsible for end-to-end processing of pay runs while collaborating with our global and in market teams. Delegat is a global business and this role will focus on processing payrolls for Australia, China, United Kingdom and Canada. What you’ll be doing:

• Responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll processes for our international markets including payroll taxes, superannuation, and month end account reconciliations.
• Respond to staff queries and promote a strong customer focus with ongoing emphasis on quality-of-service delivery
• Preparing all payroll submissions including company specific payroll returns, tax returns, online filings with tax authorities, superannuation and worker’s compensation etc, ensuring all requirements are met within required timeframes.
• Assisting the Payroll Manager with various reporting throughout the year

What you’ll bring:

• At least 3 years Payroll experience in a multi-national company
• Experience with PayGlobal is preferred and experience with international markets would be an advantage
• Basic understanding of finance and accounting processes and intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to actively listen and adapt your style
• The ability to plan well around coinciding deadlines with strong time management skills
• A high standard of work, demonstrating excellent attention to detail and perseverance
• Pick up new systems and processes quickly
