The Role

As the Pharmacy Technician, you will assist with shipping and handling in addition to processing refill requests and cancellations. You will also assist in maintaining inventory and appropriately label medications. We are seeking a highly motivated registered pharmacy technician to join our Pharmacy team!

What You’ll Do

• Remain agile for performing workflow tasks such as data entry, filling, inventory and shipping.

• Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, dispense and package medications accurately and efficiently.

• Assist in maintaining Inventory and appropriate labeling of medications.

• Process refill requests and cancellations.

• Assist with shipping and handling when needed.

• Data entry/attentiveness with order quantities and look alike sound alike medications.

• Any additional job duties and tasks as required.

What We’re Looking For

MUST-HAVES

• Must have an active registered pharmacy technician license in the state of Texas.

• Highschool diploma or general education degree (GED).

• Minimum 1-year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Reliable transportation.

• Ability to commit to Monday-Friday, and weekend shifts as needed.

• Excellent customer service and verbal skills and problem-resolution.

• Excellent written communication skills.

• Be agile, flexible, and willing to learn as we grow and evolve.

• Proficient in Microsoft apps and/or Google apps.

• A collaborative “get it done” approach to exceed our patients' expectations.

• Ability to be a team player.

NICE-TO-HAVES

• Mail order pharmacy experience is a PLUS!
