Description
Interventional Pain Management Physician
Sarasota, Florida | Full-Time | Outpatient
We are seeking an experienced, fellowship-trained Interventional Pain Management Physician to join our Sarasota practice.
This is a busy, well-supported outpatient practice with strong patient volume, experienced clinical and administrative teams, ASC access, and the structure already in place to support an interventional physician. For someone who wants to focus on practicing medicine rather than building the infrastructure around it, this is a strong opportunity.
The position is Monday through Friday with no hospital rounding or hospital call. Shared after-hours telephone call is approximately once every 4–6 weeks.
Practice & Procedures
Our physicians treat a broad range of pain conditions with a strong focus on interventional care. Procedures include:
- Epidural steroid injections
- Facet injections and medial branch blocks
- Radiofrequency ablation
- Peripheral nerve blocks
- Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS)
- Dorsal Root Ganglion (DRG) stimulation
- Peripheral Nerve Stimulation (PNS)
- Intrathecal drug delivery therapies
The physician will see patients in the outpatient clinic and perform procedures at an Ambulatory Surgery Center. The practice has the clinical, operational, and administrative structure to support both patient care and procedural volume.
Qualifications
We are looking for an experienced physician who is comfortable with a busy practice and wants to maintain a strong interventional focus.
- MD or DO
- Fellowship trained in Pain Medicine
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Medicine
- Anesthesiology or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) background
- Eligible for unrestricted Florida medical licensure
- Demonstrated experience performing interventional pain procedures
- Experience with neuromodulation and implantable therapies strongly preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive guaranteed base salary
- Productivity and performance incentives
- Signing bonus
- Relocation assistance
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance
- 401(k) with employer match
- Paid time off
- CME allowance and paid CME time
- Malpractice coverage with tail
- Professional licensing and DEA reimbursement
If you are an experienced Interventional Pain Physician looking for strong patient volume, procedural opportunity, and a well-supported outpatient practice in Tampa, we would like to hear from you.
