This individual can clearly explain plumbing needs, build customer trust, and confidently guide homeowners and business decision-makers toward the right solutions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-home plumbing consultations and assess customer needs.
- Diagnose plumbing issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Present repair and replacement options clearly and professionally.
- Prepare and present estimates and proposals.
- Build trust and strong relationships with customers.
- Handle objections, negotiate, and close sales.
- Follow up on estimates and sales opportunities.
- Identify additional plumbing opportunities while maintaining a customer-first approach.
- Work closely with technicians, installers, dispatch, and office staff.
- Maintain accurate customer and sales information.
- Meet sales, revenue, closing, and customer-service goals.
- Represent the company with professionalism and integrity.
Qualifications
- Extensive residential plumbing knowledge and experience.
- Strong understanding of commercial plumbing preferred.
- Experience with water heaters, water lines, sewer repairs, repipes, tunnels, water treatment, and major plumbing projects preferred.
- Proven sales and closing experience, including high-ticket plumbing solutions.
- Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills.
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to explain complex plumbing problems in simple terms.
- Goal-oriented, organized, professional, and self-motivated.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Minimum - Texas Journeyman plumbing license required for applicable plumbing work.
What We’re Looking For
- You are someone who can walk into a customer's home, quickly establish credibility, identify the plumbing problem, and confidently explain why the recommended solution is the right solution.
- You understand that successful sales are built on trust, knowledge, communication, and value—not pressure.
- You are comfortable discussing projects ranging from routine repairs to major plumbing investments, including water heaters, water lines, sewer repairs, repipes, tunnels, water treatment systems, and other residential plumbing solutions.
- You know how to negotiate, overcome objections, protect company profitability, and close the sale without compromising the customer relationship.
This is not a traditional sales position. We are looking for someone who understands plumbing at a high level and can combine that expertise with exceptional sales ability.
