Postdoctoral Fellow

Applicants should have (i) a PhD degree in a relevant discipline; and (ii) a track record in research.

The appointee will be responsible for providing research support and project management. Duties include (a) keeping up with the latest research that focus on research in new AI algorithm and its applications in Science and Engineering in the field of Artificial Intelligence; (b) programming, communicating with other researchers, documenting the research process, findings, and conclusions, and submitting them to top journals or conferences; (c) managing research projects, which includes planning, executing, and monitoring the project to ensure it meets the objectives; (d) coordinating and collaborating with other research team members, communicating project status and updates to relevant stakeholders, and ensuring the timely completion of projects; (e) providing mentorship to graduate and undergraduate students by guiding their research, offering feedback, and fostering research skill development; and (f) performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor, Department Head, or other relevant university personnel.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for two years, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
