Lorien Bel Air is seeking a dependable, enthusiastic, and team-oriented Dietary Prep Cook and Cook to join our culinary team in Bel Air, MD. Responsibilities

• High School diploma or GED, a plus
• Must be at least 18 years old
• ServeSafe certification, a plus
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
• Properly store, label, and rotate food items
• Assist with meal service for residents in a long-term care and assisted living setting
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Must be a team player with a strong work ethic and the willingness to help where and when it is needed

Qualifications

• Previous food service, dietary aide, prep cook, restaurant, or healthcare dining experience preferred
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Dependable attendance and commitment to quality resident service
• Experience in senior living, assisted living, nursing home, rehabilitation, or healthcare settings is a plus
• Ability to safely lift, push, and pull up to 25–50 pounds as part of daily job responsibilities, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Schedule & Availability

• Full-Time and Part-Time Hours
• 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM & 9:00 AM -5:30 PM (combined)
• 11:00 AM -7:30 PM
• Every other weekend availability required (Saturday & Sunday)
