Primary School Teacher

We are looking for a Primary School Teacher for an international school based in Xi'an. This position is available from the upcoming 2027/28 academic year in August 2027.

About the school

Xian has long been home to this international school, and it is the city's first institution to offer the prestigious International Baccalaureate (IB) programs. The school provides educational programs ranging from the Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme, to the Diploma Programme, covering all educational levels from kindergarten to high school.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning to primary school students
• Develops schemes of work, lesson plans and tests that are in accordance with established procedures
• Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies
• Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development and prepare reports on students and activities
• Participate in department, school, parent meetings and schoolwide open days and events
• Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues and parents regarding student progress and student needs
• Assign and grade class work, homework, tests and assignments

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above
• At least 2 years related teaching experiences or above
• Current teaching certification
• A good understanding of the IB PYP
• Excellent English communication skills
