Keeley Construction is looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our Heavy Industries Team.
Primary Responsibilities
- Create, issue, and track purchase orders and subcontracts for materials and services.
- Track shipments, confirm receipt of goods, and resolve delivery issues in collaboration with project and field teams.
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors on pricing, delivery timelines, and backorders; maintain positive, professional relationships.
- Maintain accurate purchase records, subcontracts, buyout logs, and vendor data within CMiC.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, conceptualize, solve problems, make decisions, and remain accountable.
- Review vendor performance, to ensure compliance and manage performance improvement activities. Assist operations and Procurement Director with vendor scorecards.
- Coordinate with Procurement Director to negotiate subcontracts and review terms and conditions with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing and terms.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery information.
- Assist Procurement Director with testing and implementation of new company software.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associates or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business Administration, or related field or;
- 1-3 years in purchasing, service coordination, or materials management
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software
