About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end production activities for missile systems, launchers, and related subsystems.
- Manage missile assembly, integration, qualification testing, and acceptance testing activities.
- Ensure adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and program milestones.
- Coordinate with Design, R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, and Program Management teams.
- Drive manufacturing process optimization, productivity improvement, and cost control initiatives.
- Review production documentation, work instructions, SOPs, and test procedures.
- Support ground testing, environmental testing, functional testing, and validation activities.
- Investigate production issues, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with defence, aerospace, EHS, and quality requirements.
- Lead and mentor production engineers, technicians, and assembly teams.
Qualification & Experience
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electronics, Production Engineering, or related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in defence, aerospace, missile, aviation, or complex electromechanical systems manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience in missile assembly, integration, testing, and production management.
- Experience working with engineering drawings, BOMs, production planning, and quality systems.
