Job Description –  Logistic Specialist

 

As a logistic specialist for ABB Marine & Port in shanghai, China, you will be responsible for proper project logistic handling, each process meets ABB relevant regulation, such as trade and transportation , internal control; coordinate with operation team to achieve the project delivery target; make improvements to the work efficiency, ensure implementation, maintenance and compliance of assigned logistic activities and initiatives.

 

Key measures       

Conduct project logistic activities related to Shanghai BLP import & export handling, inbound & outbound shipment follow-up , ensuring goods on-time pick-up and delivery to customers.

                                                                       

                              

 Your responsibilities

•  Maintain the import, inbound, outbound and export data in TCP system timely and accurately.
• Work closely with forwarders and customs brokers to assure efficient and effective execution of processes, assists in obtaining necessary transport permits; product HS codes and prepares proper transportation paperwork and import / export documentation.
• Ensure all the documentations are properly managed and resolve day-to-day operation issues.
• Support  operation team for internal & external trade compliance audit

Your background

• Bachelor’s degree , major in international trade or logistic management related.
• 2~3 years  logistic working experience ,working experience from international companies is seen as an asset.
• Strong teamwork mind, communication skill, and problem solving skills
• Good MS Office tools & Good learning ability
• Hard working, good passion, active attitude and good collaboration mind.
• Good English skills both spoken and written
