About the role
[What the role is]
As an Executive Engineer/Senior Engineer for the Catchment and Waterways Department, Drainage Operations Division, your main roles and responsibilities would include but not limited to:[What you will be working on]
- Drive the development and review of emergency response frameworks, contingency plans, and response processes to ensure operational readiness during peacetime
- Manage the execution of response plans during crisis and national emergency
- Coordinate monsoon preparation activities ahead of the Northeast Monsoon season
- Collaborate with external agencies and stakeholders to plan and conduct flood simulation, tabletop, and ground deployment exercises
- Drive the development and implementation of smart sensors and AI tools to enhance data collection and analysis, scenario planning, emergency response, and post-incident reviews to strengthen the organisation's overall emergency preparedness and resilience
