Position:
Python Automation Engineer/LeadJob Description:
Key Responsibilities-
- Design, build and maintain automated test frameworks in Python and Pytest for embedded devices and the software that runs on them.
- Strong hands-on experience in FlaUI for Windows desktop application automation.
- Strong programming expertise in Python with PyTest / Robot Framework.
- Write automated tests across levels: integration, system and end-to-end, including tests run on hardware and on simulators.
- Work with updating Automation framework
- Run tests on real instruments analyse logs and debug failures across hardware, firmware and software.
- Execute manual/automation test case and report defects
- Defect tracking and verification.
- Follow Test process to ensure adequate quality
Must have skills-
• Strong proficiency in Python and Appium.
• Hands-on experience with automation testing frameworks such as PyTest/Unittest.
• Building test automation frameworks from scratch or extending existing ones.
• Embedded or device testing: hardware-in-the-loop, simulators, serial/TCP/IPC communication, log analysis.
• Linux command line and shell scripting.
• Git and pull-request based workflows.
• CI/CD exposure (Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines or GitHub Actions).
• Solid grasp of test design techniques: boundary values, equivalence classes, negative testing.
• Good written and spoken English for working with global teams.
