On behalf of our client, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Plant Engineer / Engineering Manager / Maintenance Manager- Beverage Division to work in Kenya.
Job Purpose
To provide engineering leadership through the effective management of maintenance, utilities, reliability, plant assets, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintenance & Reliability
- Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
- Monitor equipment performance and improve plant reliability.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) investigations and implement corrective actions.
- Track and improve MTBF and MTTR.
- Implement condition-monitoring techniques and reliability-centered maintenance.
2. Utilities Management
- Manage all plant utilities including boilers, air compressors, refrigeration systems, steam systems, power distribution, water treatment, and wastewater treatment facilities.
- Ensure uninterrupted utility services and monitor consumption for optimization.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
