- Visually inspect material stockpiles and production streams for quality concerns (e.g., oversize, contamination, segregation, moisture issues) and promptly communicate findings.
- Calculate and track production/processing metrics as needed (e.g., tons per hour, blend proportions) to support consistent product quality.
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly QC reports and submissions as required.
- Maintain lab equipment, tools, and testing areas; perform routine calibrations/checks and coordinate repairs when needed.
- Support material blending activities by verifying target blend ratios and documenting blend adjustments.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures, including use of PPE, safe lifting, and working around mobile equipment and moving conveyors.
- Maintain orderly records (paper and/or electronic) to ensure traceability, audit readiness, and compliance with internal and external requirements.
- Collaborate with plant/operations leadership to investigate nonconformances and verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
