About the role

Job Description

We are guided by curiosity, passion, and optimism, and we are dedicated to enabling growth opportunities for everyone.

As a Quant Analytics Associate on the Travel Analytics team (Consumer & Community Banking – Data & Analytics), you will drive strategic decisions through deep-dive analyses and actionable insights, ongoing reporting, and executive dashboards. You will translate travel and e-commerce data into recommendations that accelerate growth, improve partner and offer performance, and deliver measurable outcomes. You will collaborate closely with product, marketing, operations, finance, risk, and technology stakeholders to enable informed, data-driven decisions and continuous improvement across the organization. Success in this role requires strong analytical rigor, clear communication, and the ability to operate with high autonomy in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage, validate, and analyze large, complex datasets from multiple internal and external sources to develop strategies and insights that drive measurable outcomes across travel and e-commerce.
  • Lead deep-dive analyses to diagnose performance, identify key drivers, and uncover opportunities across travel spend and profitability, traveler behavior, booking and redemption funnels, partner performance (air/hotel/OTA), campaign performance, and trend analysis.
  • Leverage AI/LLM capabilities to accelerate analytics workflows and scale insight delivery (e.g., automated narrative generation for dashboards, intelligent anomaly detection triage, semantic search over documentation/metric definitions, and prototyping AI-enabled data products in partnership with engineering).
  • Develop and maintain operational and executive dashboards to monitor key travel KPIs (e.g., demand, conversion, attach, cost, engagement, retention, and experience metrics) and deliver accurate, timely recurring reporting.
  • Proactively surface emerging trends, anomalies, and risks (e.g., seasonality shifts, disruptions, partner changes), and recommend actions to mitigate impact or capture upside.
  • Communicate complex analytical findings clearly and effectively to business partners and senior leadership, tailoring messages to diverse audiences and technical backgrounds.
  • Define and refine metrics, KPI definitions, and measurement frameworks (including test/control and causal evaluation where applicable) to quantify program impact and support prioritization.
  • Execute responsibilities with a high degree of autonomy, independently managing analytic workstreams, refining processes, and engaging stakeholders.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Graduate or Post Graduate degree in Data Science (or related quantitative field such as statistics, economics, mathematics, computer science, or engineering).
  • 4+ years of applied analytics experience in a data-driven environment.
  • Experience in travel and/or e-commerce analytics, including funnel analysis, conversion drivers, merchandising/offer performance, and partner or supplier performance measurement.
  • Proficient in Python and Tableau, with strong SQL skills; experience with Alteryx (or comparable tools) for analytics workflows and visualization.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Analytics, including digital funnel measurement, event/tag-based tracking concepts, and KPI interpretation for web/app journeys.
  • Strong critical thinking and attention to detail; ability to synthesize large volumes of data into clear recommendations and executive-ready narratives.
  • Experience working with AI/LLM-driven solutions, including applying LLMs to analytics/reporting workflows and partnering with teams to design, test, and deploy AI-enabled capabilities in a controlled, measurable way.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong organizational and problem-solving ability; able to multitask and prioritize effectively.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in data-driven storytelling to support strategic growth initiatives
  • Familiarity with travel analytics
