About the role
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
- Work with BAC's R&D Design & Testing team to support the development and validation of new products and technologies
- Design, assemble, and modify test setups, prototypes, and experimental equipment
- Support performance, reliability, and developmental testing activities
- Collect, analyze, and report test data to support engineering decisions
- Create and update CAD models, drawings, and test documentation
- Support design, testing, and project execution activities across multiple engineering programs
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Majoring in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Mechatronics, or Materials preferred)
- Seniors or MS students preferred
- Comfortable working in hands-on laboratory/testing environment and using shop and power tools
- Experience with 2D and 3D CAD required; experience with Autodesk Inventor preferred but not required
- Working knowledge of data acquisition equipment setup an operation
- Proficient in Excel; advanced knowledge of Excel VBA, Matlab, or similar programming language preferred
INFORMATION
- Status: Full-time, Temporary (6 months)
- Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Paid Co-Op
- Dates: Jan 2027 – June 2027
- Requirements: Reliable transportation to BAC Corporate Office every day
- Misc: Housing is not provided

BAC Hiring Compensation Range $22 - $28 per hour.
BAC provides additional earnings in the form of overtime as applicable under law.
