About the role
As an R&D Engr/Scientist I here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for conducting research and development activities to drive the creation of innovative solutions. You will utilize your technical expertise in areas such as materials science, electronics, sensors, controls, or related fields to contribute to the development of new technologies and products.
In this role, you will impact the technological advancements and strategic growth of Honeywell by contributing to the ideation, conceptualization, and prototyping of innovative solutions. You will collaborate with internal and external partners to leverage collective expertise and resources, ensuring that R&D projects adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and Honeywell's quality and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support research and development projects
- Conduct experiments, simulations, and analyses to contribute to the development of new technologies and products
- Assist in the ideation and prototyping of innovative solutions
- Analyze data and present findings to stakeholders
- Contribute to the improvement of R&D processes and best practices
- 0+ years of experience performing research and development projects within a technology or manufacturing environment
- Strong background in areas such as materials science, electronics, sensors, controls, or related fields
- Bachelor’s degree or Advanced degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Physics, or another related field
- Solid understanding of software development best practices, design patterns, and architecture principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to drive technology commercialization is a plus
- Passion for innovation and continuous learning
- Attention to detail
