Regional Area Manager | Illinois
Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 annually

Manufacturing Maintenance Solutions (MMS) is looking for an experienced, hands-on Regional Area Manager to lead contract maintenance operations across Illinois. This role is responsible for overseeing multiple locations, supporting site leadership and field teams, strengthening customer relationships, and driving safe, efficient, and profitable operations.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple customer locations
- Lead and support Area Managers, Site Supervisors, and field teams
- Drive safety, quality, productivity, and contract compliance
- Manage staffing, budgets, labor costs, and operational performance
- Build strong client relationships and resolve escalated concerns
- Identify opportunities for additional maintenance services and project work
- Travel regularly throughout Illinois to support customer sites and field teams
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of business, maintenance, facilities, or operations management experience
- 2+ years of regional or multi-site leadership experience
- Strong leadership, budgeting, and customer relationship skills
- Industrial maintenance experience or strong maintenance knowledge is highly preferred
- Travel throughout Illinois is required and is a must for this position
- Mileage is compensated for required business travel
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Experience with CMMS or maintenance management systems is preferred
